I have 15lbs of not very good, thin bacon.
So, trying bacon jerky.
Just plain first batch, want to see if it works.
Smoking at 160F for 2 hours with apple 🍎
Then put the jerky fan on continue at 160F till done

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out! I've often wanted to try the same. Did you use any additional cure?

I did. It add anything to it, cure or any seasonings.
Wanted to see if it would work first, it didn’t.
It is terrible. It was bad bacon to begin with, and I read that you need thick sliced bacon to make it jerky.
It’s just basically cooked bacon.
I will try one more time, then just grind it all to mix with burgers
