After my first smoke I decided I would want to have the smoker higher off the ground and I got some inspiration from the custom set-ups others had done.

This is a 48 x 30 commercial stainless steel work table with casters. I drilled the holes in the top (drilling stainless is always a pleasure, you got to take it slow and spray some water on the work area to keep things cool).
I was going to put it in the center but with it off center, but still between the wheels, the right side provides some work area and the unit remains quite stable.

Looks really nice. Agree you gotta have the smoker elevated off the ground.

Your setup looks good and having the work space next to your smoker is a big plus. I’ve got my 3DW on the SI Stephanie cabinet with a 24”x 36” SS work table next to the smoker. It’s really nice not having to bend over or get down on a knee to get inside the smoker.

That's a great idea! Workspace is a plus for sure.
