Title: Customer Service
Post by: AlinMA on July 10, 2015, 05:11:49 PM
I am impressed! A few days ago I ordered 3 racks. Today I received 2 of the 3 racks and enclosed in the package was a check for 1 of the racks that was out of stock. When does this ever happen? Usually when you order something and it is out of stock the item is placed on "back order" and the vendor hangs onto your cash until the item is available regardless of how long it takes to restock.
Not only does Steve make a great smoker he is a class act when it come to customer service!

Hey Al, what rack did you order? I am in the process of making some seafood racks. I have the stainless steel bars at 316 grade. No looking at a local warehouse to get the stainless mesh from and it will also be food grade. I was really lucky on the bars as the company gave me 3 at 12 foot lengths. I have enough to make all kinds of racks.

Bill, if you have the ability to weld stainless, you should be set for life!!

My Dad taught me to weld, and two of my cousins have welders and can weld. So pretty much set. Should hear back from a company in Lenexa Kansas Monday about the mesh.
