Title: Faulty Probe?
Post by: cjdavia@gmail.com on November 11, 2018, 04:49:44 PM
I have a 3D wifi.  Tonight for some strange reason one of my 2 probes reads 30-50 degrees higher than the other.  I checked with a digital meat thermometer and it is just way off.

I've only had the 3D for 4 months and I live in the northeast.  The temperature is now much colder than it was in July.    Should I run an auto-tune or maybe try a new probe?

The connectors look solid and I don't submerge the probes when cleaning them.. I take extremely good care of things so I'm not sure what to think.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Swap the probes to different ports on the controller and see if the faulty probe remains faulty or if the non-faulty probe becomes faulty.  Have to determine if it is the probe or maybe the port on the controller.  Then contact Steve with your results.
