Hey everyone... Names Derek and posting from Woodbridge VA. Got my #1 last week and can't wait to start using it. I had been eyeballing one of these for a while so I pulled the trigger on it due to what I had been reading on here (I've been lurking on here for a few months reading posts). I'm a newb when it comes to smoking but I'm anxious to learn the ins and outs and you experienced people on here are my life line. TEACH ME!!!!
Looking forward to getting to know everyone on here. Cheers!

Big Howdy from Texas Derek
Great start with the purchase of a #1 ... it really is an outstanding and super value smoker especially for a newcomer.
All the best on your first smoke after seasoning it in.

Welcome Derek--your going to love your smoker and this group. I have been smoking for a couple years now--and never start a smoke without consulting the groups posting or a direct call for help for a smoke plan. Enjoy
