2 Tri-tips simultaneously

I just bought the model 2 and have seasoned it. I'm looking for recommendations on how to smoke two 3lb Tri-tips simultaneously. Do I account for all six pounds during the smoke or treat it as one Tri-tip.

Everything can be treated as if the smaller pieces don't exist. You might get a little extra time for them (more meat, harder to get box up to temp), but not very much.

Did you cook these tri tips? I'd like to hear how they turned out and your details about the cook.
