I was a nice weekend so.....

I had to do ribs in my SI#2.  :) One rubbed with Famous Dave's and the other with Garlic Pepper. Set at 225 with 4 oz oak for 5 hours no peeking. It needed an additional 30 minutes. This was the result after a successful toothpick test. Very tasty!

Nice job, Bob!   I did the same thing yesterday, smoking 3 racks of BB ribs.   I was in FL last week (Disney trip with the kids) when northern DE got hit with a 9" snow.   My wonderful neighbors did a great job snow blowing my driveway and sidewalks.  In return, they got some lovely smoked BB ribs yesterday afternoon!  Everybody is happy.   ;D

Dave, they were. I got that plus the Rocky Mountain Rub. They made a mistake in the original order but did the right thing and corrected it. I was benefactor of receiving both. My wife likes the Famous Dave's rub better because of the sweet component. The Wild Bills doesn't have much salt if any. Next time I will salt first then rub and see if she likes that better.

Good point. Helps control the sugar content better.  8)
