Bass Pro Shop
« on: December 26, 2014, 03:03:38 PM »
Family was out post holiday browsing and shopping.  I saw three families loading up masterbuild smokers in shopping carts.

It was hard for me not to yell, "DON"T DO IT".  I wish I had a brochure to hand out for the SI.

I guess the $169 is so temping to people.

Merry Christmas.

Give them a couple of months and no doubt we will meet them in the Introduction section of the SI forums!   ::)

I was almost one of them.... ALMOST. Luckily I discovered this great machine and forum. Now my post holiday browsing and shopping are thinking about which meats to do next with the Jeff Phillips mac and cheese.

Happy Holidays!

We're converting more and more, every day, but it takes time to break into the market share MB has!  Sad thing is, they just don't know the alternative, but Steve is definitely making headway with that.  The future is bright for SI, and there are many great things around the corner!

I spend half my time working my day job... the other half of my time at home, with family, smoking meat, and actively studying long term investing.

If there ever were a stock offering I would buy a lot... Or if they ever needed a silent partner... Or even just a distributor in PA... I would do it in a second.  😉

I'm not even looking at making money per se.... Just being part of an awesome product launch would be great.

It was this very forum that saved me from that heinous fate.
