Title: "Customer service is NOT a department. It's an attitude!"
Post by: EFGM on July 29, 2016, 08:03:59 PM
I have to post this email I received from Donna with Smokinlicious. I think most of you order you wood from the
same company, or perhaps somewhere else. The Title of this post is on their signature line of the email and they, like everyone says about Smokin-it, live up to
it. If you don't currently use this company I sincerely hope this example will earn them your business.

Good Day, Doug!

Thank you for your recent order of SmokinLicious Gourmet Wood Products!
Your order is scheduled to ship July 29, 2016 and is expected to
arrive in Carrollton, TX in 4 business days. The FedEx Ground Tracking
Number on your order is: ############### (go to www.fedex.com and select
"Track a Package"). I noted your wood selections in this order.

I wanted to also inform you that based on your previous order history, it
appears that you ordered the wrong product. I processed an order today
for The Combo which is suppose to contain wood chips and wood chunks. You
only wanted wood chunks so you should have ordered the Serious Double
Filet Wood Chunk. I went ahead and provided the woods in the quantities
you directed and did not adjust pricing for the difference. I just want
to be sure you order the correct product next time.

Thank you again for your order AND the repeat business. If you should
have any questions or comments, feel to contact me anytime.

Not surprised.  I deal with a few what would call "rural NY" vendors and they are top notch.

A good co
