Sidney Camper pork butt
« on: September 22, 2023, 12:36:34 PM »
Going to be doing a 9 pound pork butt in my Sidney camper, that’s a big chunk of meat for a little smoker. Can I expect it to take longer due to the meat mass in a tiny smoker?

I have a #1 and a #3.  The smoking time between the two doesn't differ much when doing the same amount of pork butt.
Since the S.C. has a 400 watt element like the #1, wouldn't expect it to differ very much unless you put so much meat in that the heat can't circulate efficiently.

Good to know, thanks. There is room to circulate, could have gone bigger
