First cook on my #1
« on: July 19, 2017, 05:20:28 PM »
I did the new smoker break in steps 4 hours two chunks of supplied wood.   Let smoker cool down removed fire box wood was almost ash.

First meat cooked in the smoker cheep pre-seasoned pork tenderloin.  Was using this cook as part of the break in of the smoker.  Took it off at 145 degrees and let it rest for ten minutes as I made the salad. Dressed the salad with tenderloin medallions and enjoy a nice fresh meal. The meat was very good happy with first results. ;D

Tenderloin is a great quick smoke. Good idea to think of it as part of the break in process. What's next?
